This was a story created for the Tulare & Kings County Suicide Prevention Task Force. I worked with fellow artist Jenai Kaeo to write and illustrate the book.
The book was meant to be a youth outreach tool for kids experiencing bullying. From the time I got to spend with Jenai coming up with the story, to the time I spent researching the different elements of the story, to the personal impacts it’s had on young students, this has become one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever worked on.
